Steveo Stewart

Co-founder and President

Stephan "Steveo" Stewart served in the U.S. Navy (1995-1998) before helping launch RealityBikes.com (1998-2001), one of the early e-commerce cycling retailers. In 2001, he founded Argonaut Designs, a design/build firm he led for a decade before selling in 2011. He then served as Director of Business Development for a German-based industrial automation company, where he managed $600,000,000 in annual contracts and assisted in the

launch of their 3000-user CRM.

In 2020, he entered the insurance industry with the goal of streamlining and automating workflows to enable agents to focus on what matters most, the customer relationship. This vision led to the launch of Horizon Insurance, a company that merges technology with personalized service to modernize the industry.

He is currently developing the systems and integrations for Horizon-Insurance.com, a pseudo-insurtech that will take the manual data entry out of the insurance shopping experience while enabling the shopper to deal with a local agent. Looking forward, the vision is for the Horizon Alliance, an agent aggregator focused on efficient agency management and agent training.

Passionate about cycling and sailing, Steveo is also committed to expanding skilled trades training, mentoring the next generation of craftspeople, and increasing access to affordable housing. He actively supports efforts to preserve and revitalize greater downtown communities without displacing the residents who helped to build Wilmington, ensuring these neighborhoods remain vibrant, accessible, and sustainable for future generations.
