Terms of Service

Welcome to Horizon Insurance, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including consultations, policy comparisons, quoting, binding, and other insurance brokerage services. By engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 Advisory Role. We act as an intermediary between you and insurance carriers to help you find appropriate coverage based on the information you provide.

1.2 No Guarantee of Coverage. While we strive to present you with accurate quotes, the final determination of coverage, premiums, and policy issuance is at the discretion of the insurance carrier.

1.3 Policy Management. Once a policy is bound, all claims, endorsements, and policy management are subject to the insurance carrier’s terms.

2. Client Responsibilities

2.1 Accurate Information. You must provide accurate and complete information so that we can find suitable coverage. Failure to do so may result in coverage denial or policy cancellation.

2.2 Timely Communication. Notify us promptly of any changes to your insurance needs, including changes in property, vehicles, or other insurable assets.

2.3 Payment Obligations. You are responsible for timely payment of premiums. Non-payment may result in policy cancellation.

3. Fees and Commissions

3.1 Brokerage Fees. We may charge service fees for certain activities, such as policy research, claims assistance, or administrative tasks. These fees will be disclosed upfront.

3.2 Commissions. We receive commissions from insurance carriers for policies sold. This does not influence our recommendation process.

4. Confidentiality and Data Use

4.1 Privacy. Your personal information is collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Third-Party Sharing. We may share your information with insurance carriers and relevant third parties to facilitate policy placement.

5. Limitations of Liability

5.1 No Warranty. Our services are provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

5.2 Liability Cap. Our liability for any claims arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount of brokerage fees paid by you.

5.3 Force Majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or technological disruptions.

6. Dispute Resolution

6.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the policy is written.

6.2 Mediation. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing litigation.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon termination, you remain responsible for outstanding obligations, including payment of premiums.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to you and take effect upon posting.
